Welcome to The Inn:
A home for your adventure
Built in 1912, The Inn at Haines is a historic home, located in the heart of downtown Haines, Alaska. Formerly the Summer Inn, under new ownership as of March 2017, with renovations showcasing vintage charm with a fresh new look. The house was built over a 100 years ago by Tim Vogel, a member of Skagway’s notorious Soapy Smith gang and a colorful character in the history of Haines. Four guest rooms on the property maybe retro in style, but full of plush linens and pillows, free wifi, and a private access. The views from the Inn are wondrous in every direction with Lynn Canal, the Chilkat Mountains and the Historic Fort Seward; as well we are walking distance to the harbor, museums, restaurants, breweries, and galleries of Haines. Start your day sharing a fresh continental breakfast with other guests before heading out to your Haines adventure. End or start your evening with a glass of wine or tea on our beautiful porch and big back yard at your home away from home in Haines.
